Battle for Inner Peace

Battle for Inner Peace is an immersive experience with costumed characters facilitating an original life-size board game. Perfect for festivals, street fairs, corporate retreats, children's birthday parties and any event desiring interactive, cooperative entertainment. It has a Dungeons and Dragons meets Renaissance Faire feel with our talent driving the narrative in character. It is played on a hand-painted 10'x10' board where 2+ players face off, rolling the dice and moving their game piece around the board, facing playful group challenges along the way. First team back to the center wins Inner Peace!

The Story

"The Lord of Darkness and The Lady of Light, locked in an endless battle over who’s way is the right way, decide to resolve the conflict once and for all with a game, wherein two teams of Light and Dark champions race across the four realms, facing many challenges along the way, in an attempt to be the first team back to the center of the universe, where inner peace resides..."

Battle for Inner Peace is designed to encourage complex thinking about the nature of the universe and our place in it, while giving participants the benefits of nervous system regulation, team building, and conflict resolution from our group challenges.

The game is facilitated by 2-4 costumed characters and can be scaled from a complex 30 minute game with 10+ players down to a 3 minute mini game with 2 people when needed. It is also easily formatted for most ages since the challenges are reinventions of childhood team building exercises, such as red light green light and relay races.

Game Board

Our game board is a 10x10ft hand-painted board that leads participants on a fantastical adventure. Starting in the center, each team chooses a path (earth, fire water, air) and makes their way out of the center and around the board landing on playful, fun challenges such as:

Siren's Song: blind folded marco polo

Knot Human: get yourself out of a human knot!

Jewel of Fire: relay race with pingpong balls and spoons

The first team around the board and back up the way they came to the center wins Inner Peace and a blessing from the Lord of Darkness or the Lady of Light!
