The divided kingdoms of Light and Dark, recast as pieces with stories of their own: bishops wielding high magic, rooks enchanted into living stone, regal queen mothers, and rival heirs caught in a forbidden love, dressed in detailed armor, intricate headpieces, and custom robes.

Staging a real chess match where every capture triggers a live act, rising on stilts at heights that mirror each piece's rank, and shifting the storyline with every move until Light or Dark claims the board. The Game Master draws audience members in as pawns and leads the crowd through game show play, building to a winning side finale and an outro party.
